Not long after my last blog entry with photo of my beloved Martha, she had a sudden stroke and died at the age of 16. Life is never the same for me without a doggy companion, so soon afterwards I adopted Poppy, rescued from Romania. Unknown to me, she had serious medical problems which got steadily worse. To make a long story short, sweet little Poppy didn’t make it beyond the new year. RIP dear little girl.
